Welcome to Pixie Hollow!
Hello! My name is Strawberry Twinkletwirl. I'm a garden-talent who fell in love with Pixie Hollow from the moment I read The Trouble with Tink as a child. When I wasn't reading the Tales of Pixie Hollow or Gail Carson Levine's incredible trilogy, I was building fairy houses with my friends in the front yard and dreaming of the day when Peter Pan would whisk me away to Never Land (all so I could ditch him and the Lost Boys to go find Home Tree and Mother Dove!).
Many of my favorite childhood memories involve the Never Fairies. PixieHollow.com was a second home for many years, where I would spend countless hours playing with one of my best friends while we chatted on the phone, switching accounts back and forth so that we could share her membership. At my tenth birthday party, my friends and I spent all night looking for fairies in the yard, much to my delight (I found out later that all the "clues" we had found were left by those same friends. How sweet is that? I love my friends!!). Even after I stopped believing in fairies—clap a few times, just to be safe!—I never stopped loving them.
Now that I'm older, I'm revisiting my love for these fairies, and I want to expand my childhood collection of books and toys. However, given the age of the series, and relative obscurity compared to other, more well-documented franchises, it's hard to pin down exactly what's out there—especially for the Home Tree Era, my favorite. I thought to myself, wouldn't it be convenient to have some sort of merch database out there, so I know exactly what my collection is missing? And, well, here's the answer to that question! My goal is to catalog as much Home Tree Era (or Gen 1, depending on who you talk to) official merchandise that I can, to give other collectors a useful reference point, as well as just to spread the love for this wonderful series!
Updates will be slow, given the fact that I'm a beginner at HTML + working a full time job on the Mainland, but I hope to dedicate whatever time I can to this cozy little corner of the Internet. Thanks so much for visiting my page!
